ABOUT THE DESIGNER

BRITTANY YANG

Brittany was born and raised in Orange County, California. In 2012, she moved to Seattle, Washington where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Architecture from the University of Washington. She recalls living in Washington allowed her to develop a deep appreciation for nature and truly experience the beauty of seasons.

That appreciation never really left her when Brittany moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to work in Consumer Products and Communications at entertainment companies such as The Walt Disney Company and NBCUniversal. There was an increasing urge to follow a more artistic calling.

Her discovery of floral design in 2020 made her realize that her daily inspirations such as nature, architecture, interior design, fashion and travel could be manifested into one artistic medium. An artistic medium that allowed her to connect with people from all over the world; learn their unique tastes and interests; and create an elevated experience of joy and beauty for life’s important occasions. Brittany’s creations are highly inspired by her floral studies in the countryside of Belgium as well as travels to Paris, Puglia and Mallorca.

When Brittany is not designing flowers, you can find her cuddling with her two cats, Hanya and Kanani; lacing up her running shoes in the morning to train for the next race; or training with her Tahitian dance troupe for the next solo competition or show performance. Brittany finds that a need for some sort of sport in her life stems from her past experience as a competitive swimmer. For 10 years, she competed with teams such as the Mission Viejo Nadadores and Irvine Novaquatics. Additionally, Brittany loves experiencing new places near and far and is always dreaming up the next big travel adventure.
